To grow a profitable business, you have to measure everything that you do. Including the time that your employees spend on daily tasks, especially if they’re on the field or working from home.
But we believe that tracking can be non-invasive. That it can put employees first. That it can be made on the foundation of trust. That it can empower employees so they can find the internal will to deliver their tasks efficiently.
That’s why we created OneOffice, a time-tracking software that lets you track your employees productivity effectively without being intrusive.
Our Story
ONEOFFICE.io was created due to a need for us to manage our own internal requirements – an IT company and logistics combined to about 100 employees.
Both businesses require our people to be in the office, on the field or working from home – which means that some has no way to use a bundy clock or a biometrics reader at that time (since they are out of the office).
This was a huge problem – since an organization not being able to have an accurate basis for payroll computation will eventually cause a business to fail. It was the case for those businesses – imagine if 30 minutes is being added to a staff’s pay in error everyday – mutiplied to about 100 employees – this will amount to thousands of dollars per month of money being thrown away.
There were some options in the past that were either too complicated or too expensive. We decided to create our own! ONEOFFICE.io was born…
The solution was simple – we use the phone or laptop’s camera for the staff to take a selfie picture (showing the client site’s office as proof – if required).. the system will also log the time of the picture as basis for their time-in (timestamp).. simple solution but effective!
ONEOFFICE.io evolved further, adding the ability to create your own tasks, assign tasks to others that can’t be deleted, employee scheduling, activity reporting, asset assignments, ID maker… and more being released every quarter…
Today, ONEOFFICE.io is being used by companies who need to manage their staff’s time more accurately… whether they are on the field, working from home or simply just in their office.
I can only promise for the system to improve non-stop... because I am using it too.
